Today i was in Zavelstein in the Black Forest!

A visit to the Zavelstein Castle ruins, which tower high above the village of Zavelstein, part of the town of Bad Teinach. Built in the 12th century, the castle was once the ancestral seat of the Counts of Calw and today features a well-preserved keep with sweeping views across the Northern Black Forest. A circular path leads through the restored remains of the walls, bringing the medieval past of this historically significant site to life.
