Work of science fiction As far as Intel, Recon, Patrol, Security or even the Cyborg Captain himself, this event did not take place. Not one report or even a small note. Can't believe what I see (Oh) My Babe's an alien (Yeah) Alien! Basic Structure Science fiction tribute to Pour Some Sugar On Me by Def Leppard (released in the US on April 16, 1988). Re-imagined but leaving a few small phrases and words of the lyrics and following basic structure as written for the original song to serve as a potential giveaway as to inspirational source. As such there is no inherent rhyming structure with very few lines rhyming and is mostly a prose song telling a story. Utilized as a flashback to when some AI and humans tried fleeing from the Time Loop and certain destruction. This is from the perspective of two humans (a couple) on the run and not knowing who or what they were dealing with. Genre set to a mix of hard and pop rock with tempo approximately 85BPM as in the original but the similarities end with the above listed items and the sound and lyrics are otherwise completely different. The song's purpose is two-fold: add a strictly human chapter to the science fiction narrative and to spoof on every sci-fi or horror story or movie tends to break continuity by adding a sentimental or even love scene in the middle of a desperate situation or chase scene. Scene Context At the onset of the First Wave a man and female significant other make a break for it from their neighborhood. Some of the lyrics are what was said and some represent internal non-spoken thoughts. There has been no indication by Recon, Intel,, Patrol or even the Captain himself as to the knowledge of this event. In fact, we don't know if it was a real event, if the players were real or if it was a ruse by the Cyborg Captain, Benedictus or any other AI or human actor. What is known is that it was shortly before the Captain announced the creation of the Time Loop but since it has technically always existed we cannot be certain at this time that ANYBODY has ever truly escaped.
