A brief stop at the Church of St. Germanus

Today I made a quick stop at St. Germanus Church in Malmsheim to show you the church. Unfortunately, the door was locked, so I could only admire the grounds and the impressive chancel tower up close. But even from the outside, the detour is worthwhile, as the Romanesque defensive character of the tower and the tranquil location above the town have their own unique charm.
