In this Greek film, Manolis, a sailor, is tasked by Captain Nikola with watching over his daughter, Popi, to ensure she doesn't meet any sailors. Manolis also seeks a job and is introduced to Mr. Harbis, who offers him a position. Popi, meanwhile, is secretly in love with Dimitris, the nephew of Harbis, and they meet in secret, defying her father's wishes.
