This is a 4K restoration of the 1930 Greek silent film "The Bandits of Athens," directed by Dimitris Gaziadis. The film's imagery was restored by L'Immagine Ritrovata in Bologna and Paris, using a unique nitrate print preserved by the French Cinematheque. The musical score was re-orchestrated by the Hellenic Music Centre in Athens, with exclusive sponsorship from the Stavros Niarchos Foundation.
